Bird Watchers Unite

(FYI-this is not a photo I took, but I couldn't help use it cause it's the cutest little thing I've ever seen. I think it's a Kingfischer, which is typically found in the tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Oceania) Welp, apparently I'm a birder now. It's a little out of control how, in a matter of two months, I tuned into a 80 year old, retired woman, sitting in my backyard in Fort Collins, Colorado watching the birds eat from the 3 bird feeders I have recently installed. What in the hell?! In my defense, all three are on one pole but seriously...what is even happening?! Here's the thing though about this new hobby-I'm really LOVING it. Side note:...

WHO DOESN'T LIKE FREE?!

Hello Friends! I still wake up pretty much every morning and think about what a bizarre world this is right now. BUT, I also wake up every morning so SO thankful for my health, a roof over my head and food in the fridge, a spouse working at home with me, a job where I can sell PAGEFIFTYFIVE greeting cards online, and a fantastic business partner at Makerfolk who has values and priorities that align with mine...and that's just the tip of the "things I'm thankful for" iceburg. PAGEFIFTYFIVE in the times of Covid

A lot of small businesses had to pivot and change the way they do business practically overnight, including PAGEFIFTYFIVE and Makerfolk (the shop I co-own in Old Town Fort Collins). It seems like things are happening and changing so quickly and I'm doing my best to keep up, but ooof...this has not been an easy challenge for me. Honestly, I'm really okay with the staying home part. I'm an introvert at heart, I love my home, my wife is working from home too so we're together, my dog is happy and we have a nice house (albeit a littttttle small now that were all here 24/7) and a backyard that has been neglected for a while now-so I've found myself...
